My little Art Print Refresh

Focus: Adding Color

I live in what I like to believe is the "cutest little apartment on this side of the river." I think one of the reason that it is so cute is because I enjoy adding color to my space. I like to do this is by changing out the art prints that live in my home. This latest art print refresh is courtesy of a few Etsy Sellers. So let's get into what I added!

Family Wall

I am really big on family, and I love to have photos of my relatives throughout my space. It brings so much comfort to me to see a shared moment and smiles on their faces in the photos. I added this print by TimelessPrints4You because it expresses the way I feel when I view my family photos. I feel joyful and surrounded by colorful moments. I decided to keep the IKEA frame white because I wanted the emphasis placed on the print itself and the many faces of my family.

Bathroom

I don't know when it happened, but I now find comfort in the color pink. It wasn't that way at all when I was growing up, but that's a story for another time. I spend so much time in my bathroom. It's where I refresh, wash the day off, read, find inspo, and yeah, the other stuff too. So I wanted a print that would illustrate all that in one piece. This print by TheNoirPreserves does that. I love her Afro, I love the softness of the pink, I love all of the texture presented in the tub. And to play on that texture, I framed this print in a linen frame with a white mat.

Garden Area

I am an urban gardener. I like to grow food, herbs, flowers in my spaces. The reason I like to do this is because I want to be able to provide the essentials for my family and my community. This print by TimelessPrints4You illustrates that very well. I framed this print in a gold frame because I thought it was cute.

Gallery Wall

Again, community and belonging are important to me. I wanted to add some prints to my space that illustrate the uniqueness and similarities that live within my friendships.

So, the print by NoNakedWallsPrints and JoStellaStudio were absolute musts.

I believe I accomplished my goal of adding color with the art prints that share a space with me. I hope this inspires you to do the same or maybe to just make your space a little more you.

Until next time,

Alisha
